A wild bluejay flirted with me today and lowkey it might actually be the highlight of my entire life. He landed on my feeder while I was having breakfast and proceeded to sing a lovely little tune to himself, which is called a "whisper song". As far as I can tell they sing this when they are happy & just chillin, or trying to woo a partner. Linked below is someone else's video but that's the general idea. When life gives you migraines and you gotta stay home, it better at least give you something pretty, too!
