Launching version 1.0 - Orchid

I have been working very hard on this theme for the last two weeks and decided it's finally time to start introducing it. I should have all the pages created within a couple days, but they won't be much use yet.

This is the first layout I've created in over a decade. I feel super rusty, but also it feels amazing to get back into this. Weirdly enough I find my hands simply remembering things that my mind can not. Muscle memory is weird enough, but to remember how to code without remembering the words is a new level.

I can't wait to finish creating all the index pages and write little blurbs about them. In fact I'm so excited that I keep not going to bed until nearly midnight, which is appalling because I GET UP AT 4:30 AM EVERY DAY FOR WORK. Um, speaking of which...

let's get this Ball rolling

I just spent 2 hours trying to get xampp running so that I could open all my old .php files in a browser and screenshot them so they could be added to the /archive of all the old website designs I made years ago. Two hours. For screenshots. We kind of lost the plot a bit there, but also...it is not working. There are no screenshots.

This started when I found the hard drive which is an archive of aaallllll of my old computer files, as in, computers that no longer exist. Obviously I had to peruse. I clicked links. I opened jpegs. I spelunked into css. What was the entire point of this adventure? To steal code from myself, actually. Past me knew what she was doing. Today me does not.

Right: we are not here (in this hdd) for screenshots. We are here for theft.
